1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Starff website and portals, and set out the framework under which Starff Ltd supplies temporary staffing services. Specific engagements are governed by the written terms of business issued to clients and the terms of engagement issued to candidates.

2. For employers

• Job requests are subject to acceptance and worker availability; confirmed bookings are covered by our fulfilment commitments.
• Approved timesheets form the basis of weekly invoicing. Invoices are payable within the period stated in your terms of business.
• Direct engagement of a Starff-introduced worker outside the agreement may attract a transfer fee as set out in your terms of business.

3. For candidates

• Registration is free and creates no obligation on either side to offer or accept shifts.
• You must provide accurate information and genuine documents. Misrepresentation results in removal from the platform.
• Pay is processed weekly against verified timesheets, including holiday entitlement accrued under the Working Time Regulations.

4. Compliance

Starff verifies right-to-work, identity and role-relevant certifications before placement. Employers remain responsible for site safety, induction and lawful working conditions during a shift.

5. Acceptable use of the website and portals

You must not misuse the website or portals, attempt to access other users’ data, or upload unlawful content. Portal credentials are personal and must not be shared.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with the website is limited to the extent permitted by law, and service liability is as set out in the applicable terms of business.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
